New Physical Therapy Clinic Opens in East Point, Led by Dr. Keith E. Evans

Dr. Keith E. Evans, director of Atlanta Human Performance Center, has opened a new state-of-the-art clinic at 3015 Camp Creek Parkway, East Point. With more than 30 years of experience in the field, Evans brings his proficiency in physical therapy to the residents of East Point and the surrounding areas.

As a former collegiate linebacker at Missouri Western State University, Evans, a physical therapist and doctor of medicine, understands the critical role of “human performance.”

In a statement, he said, “Mobility is medicine. It is the essence of life. Therefore, if you aren’t moving at all or moving with pain, then you are not your best. My team of Doctors of Physical Therapy and I are thrilled to bring our expertise and our passion for patient care to the residents of East Point and South Fulton.”

With the first practice opening in 1985 on Hogan Road near Greenbriar Mall, the Atlanta Human Performance Center team “has been using tried and true methodologies and new technologies to keep Atlantans moving. AHPC under Dr. Evans’ leadership is forward-thinking and results-driven. Consequently, with this new facility, his team is positioned and committed to meeting the needs of older adults, athletes, millennials, and weekend warriors for years to come,” a news release said.

After establishing a strong educational base with his exercise physiology studies at Missouri Western State University, Evans furthered his education by earning a professional degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Missouri at Columbia. He continued his studies by obtaining a Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology from Georgia State University, a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Alabama State University, and a Doctorate in Medicine from Xavier University School of Medicine.

The clinic, at the corner of Camp Creek Parkway and Washington Road, will provide patients with traditional physical therapy and injury treatment, along with individualized exercise programs, helping patients transition towards more active and healthier lives. The facility, designed for patient comfort and recovery, features private treatment rooms and state-of-the-art equipment.
